Santa and Mrs. Claus at Rest Haven, Inc.: A Winter Wonderland Extravaganza

Mark your calendars for an enchanting day filled with holiday cheer at Rest Haven, Inc. and Museum Village. Santa and Mrs. Claus are bringing their festive magic to our community, and you’re invited to join in the excitement! This free event promises fun and heartwarming activities for all ages.

A Heartwarming Day for All

Kick off the festivities at 9:30 a.m. with a lively performance by the Monroe-Woodbury Drumline. The event will be graced by the presence of 9 Santa’s Elves who will be collecting Toys for Tots donations to support our local community.

Santa and Mrs. Claus will arrive at 10:45 a.m., greeted by excited children, community members, and various local organizations, including the Blooming Grove PD, Blooming Grove Fire District, Blooming Grove Ambulance, Monroe-Woodbury Drumline, Girl Scouts, Lions Club Members, and, of course, all the good boys and girls.

Parade Route and Celebrations

At 10:45 a.m., join in the excitement as Santa and Mrs. Claus parade along Rte 17m to Gilbert Street and High Street. You can catch a glimpse of the procession at Museum Village, along Rte 17m in front of Crystal Run, and along Gilbert Street behind Shoprite.

At 11:00 a.m., Santa and Mrs. Claus will leave Museum Village in style, traveling by horse and wagon to their next destination: Rest Haven, Inc. at 236 High Street, Monroe, NY.

Pending NYSDOT approval: Santa and Mrs. Claus will travel from Museum Village along Route 17m to Gilbert, then turn right on Gilbert to High Street and left on High Street to Rest Haven. Spectators can stand at various locations along the parade route to greet them!

A Magical Experience at Rest Haven, Inc.

Upon their arrival at Rest Haven, Inc., a delightful string quartet will set the mood with holiday caroling music. Enjoy the sounds of the season as you explore the beautiful surroundings. The Monroe-Woodbury Music Group will fill the parlor with music, while Mrs. Claus will be ready to help kids write letters to Santa. Volunteers will be spreading warmth and joy in the dining room.

In the billiard room, kids of all ages will have the chance to meet Santa himself. Take your time to relax and soak in the festive atmosphere while learning about Rest Haven, Inc.’s historical connection to the blind community and Helen Keller.

Event Details and Gratitude

This event is open to the public and absolutely free. While donations are appreciated, they are not required.
